Making Refreshing Homemade Ice Cream with Daiso Ice Molds
The weather has suddenly gotten warmer, and you’re craving ice cream but also trying to stick to a diet? Don’t worry! Here’s a recipe for healthy and delicious homemade ice cream you can enjoy guilt-free. Let’s beat the heat with creamy avocado ice cream and refreshing fruit milk ice cream!
Base Ingredients
- 400ml Milk
- 1/2 Ripe Avocado
- 1 Tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup (adjust to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
To start making the ice cream base, pour about 200ml of milk into your blender. (You can add the remaining milk later if needed.)
Step 2
Add 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup for sweetness. Feel free to adjust the sweetness according to your preference.
Step 3
Pit and peel half a ripe avocado, then add it to the blender. Avocado will add a creamy texture and rich flavor to your ice cream.
Step 4
Blend all the ingredients in the blender until smooth and creamy. Blending thoroughly is key for a silky texture. You can freeze it just like this for a delicious basic ice cream. If you prefer a tangier flavor, you can add finely chopped fruits at this stage or later.
Step 5
For adventurous eaters, you can even try unique combinations like chili ice cream! (This recipe focuses on avocado and fruit ice cream.)
Step 6
Pour the blended ice cream mixture into your Daiso ice molds. Fill them to a level that doesn’t exceed the handle. If you’re adding fruits, pour some of the base mixture first, then add the small fruit pieces on top.
Step 7
For fruit ice cream, you can also opt to make it without avocado, using just milk and honey – customize it to your liking! Secure the lids on the ice cream molds and place them in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until completely firm. Enjoy your delicious homemade ice cream!
