  • 200g Plain Yogurt (Thick Greek yogurt recommended)
  • 200g Frozen Blueberries
  • 100-150g Milk Chocolate
  • 1.5 Tbsp Honey or Allulose (adjust sweetness to taste)

Cooking Instructions

Making the Blueberry Yogurt Base: In a bowl, place 200g of thick plain yogurt. Add 200g of frozen blueberries. You can adjust the amount of blueberries to your preference. Stir in 1.5 tablespoons of honey or allulose. Taste and adjust the sweetness as needed. Freeze this yogurt-blueberry mixture in ice cube trays or spread thinly on a baking sheet for easy freezing.

Complete Your Probiotic Ice Cream!: The frozen blueberry yogurt mixture becomes an excellent base for probiotic ice cream. You can enjoy this healthy dessert easily without an ice cream maker.

Melting Milk Chocolate via Double Boiler: It’s time to melt 100-150g of milk chocolate. Place the chocolate in a cup or heatproof bowl. Fill a saucepan with about 1 inch of warm water (around 50°C or 122°F) and place the bowl with chocolate over it to melt gently. Be careful not to overheat the water; if it’s too hot, the chocolate can separate and become grainy. Maintain a lukewarm temperature.

Smoothly Melted Chocolate: The milk chocolate, melted using the double boiler method, will have a glossy and smooth consistency. We’ll use it in this state.

Cut the Frozen Yogurt into Bite-Sized Pieces: Take the frozen blueberry yogurt mixture out of the freezer and cut it into pieces that are easy to handle. If the mixture is too hard to cut, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes or warm your knife slightly in hot water.

Create Chocolate-Coated Ice Cream: Dip the cut blueberry yogurt ice cream pieces into the melted milk chocolate to coat them. The chocolate coating will harden quickly. Once coated, immediately return the ice cream pieces to the freezer to set. You can choose to apply a thin or thick layer of chocolate according to your preference for different styles!
