  • 2 Korean chili peppers (cheongyang peppers)
  • 1/2 stalk green onion
  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 300-400ml water

Pour one pack (450g) of the store-bought ox bone broth with beef tendon into a pot. This forms the rich base of your soup.

Prepare the frozen dumplings. If you thaw them in the refrigerator before cooking, they will cook faster. You can also add them directly from frozen, but you’ll need to extend the cooking time until they are fully cooked.

Finely chop the green onion. Crack the egg into a separate bowl and lightly whisk it with the chopped green onion. This mixture will be added later for flavor and garnish.

Add about 300-400ml (approximately 2 cups) of water to the pot with the ox bone broth. Add the finely chopped Korean chili peppers and bring the soup to a rolling boil over high heat. The chili peppers add a refreshing, slightly spicy kick that balances the richness of the broth.

Once the broth is boiling vigorously, add the prepared dumplings. Stir in 1 tsp of minced garlic and 1/2 tsp of salt.
