Main Ingredients- 1 Ramyeon noodle pack
- 3 Frozen steamed dumplings
- 4 Frozen fried dumplings
- 1/2 can Spam (approx. 100g)
- 500ml Water
Seasoning- 2 Tbsp Soy sauce
- 5 Tbsp Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
- 6 Tbsp Oligodang (corn syrup or mulyeot)
- 0.5 Tbsp Salt
- Pinch of Black pepper
- 2 Tbsp Soy sauce
- 5 Tbsp Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
- 6 Tbsp Oligodang (corn syrup or mulyeot)
- 0.5 Tbsp Salt
- Pinch of Black pepper
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, in a pot, combine 500ml of water with 2 Tbsp soy sauce, 5 Tbsp gochugaru, 6 Tbsp oligodang, 0.5 Tbsp salt, and a pinch of black pepper to create the sauce base. Stir well to mix all the seasonings.
Step 2
Once the sauce begins to boil, add the 3 frozen steamed dumplings first, as they require more cooking time. Cover the pot and let them simmer for about 3 minutes to ensure they are fully cooked.
Step 3
When the broth is bubbling vigorously, add the 1 ramyeon noodle pack and the 4 frozen fried dumplings. The fried dumplings cook faster than steamed ones, so adding them separately prevents them from overcooking or sticking.
Step 4
When the ramyeon noodles are almost cooked through, add the Spam, cut into bite-sized pieces (about 100g). The savory flavor of the Spam will blend into the sauce, adding a richer taste.
Step 5
Once all ingredients are cooked and the sauce has thickened slightly, turn off the heat. Serve immediately in a bowl and enjoy your delicious and hearty Mandu-Rabokki!
