Main Ingredients- Tteokguk rice cakes 1.5 cups (approx. 300g)
- Square fish cakes 2 sheets
- 1 pack store-bought beef bone broth (approx. 1L)
- Green onion a small amount
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, gently rinse the tteokguk rice cakes under cold water to prevent them from sticking together. Cut the fish cakes into bite-sized pieces, about 1cm thick. Finely chop the green onion.
Step 2
Pour the store-bought beef bone broth (approx. 1L) into a pot and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Once the broth is simmering, add the tteokguk rice cakes and the sliced fish cakes. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until the rice cakes are tender. Stir occasionally to prevent the rice cakes from clumping.
Step 3
Once the rice cakes and fish cakes are cooked, add the chopped green onions and let it simmer for another moment. This will allow the fresh green onion flavor to meld into the broth.
Step 4
Finally, simmer for another moment. Your delicious beef bone broth tteokguk, with its rich broth and chewy rice cakes and tender fish cakes, is now complete! Serve hot and enjoy this comforting meal.
