Main Ingredients- 2 strips Bacon
- 1/6 Onion
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- 3 Tbsp Creamy Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 bowl Rice (warm)
- Pinch of Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Pinch of Parsley Flakes
- Pinch of Oregano
- Pickles (for serving)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, finely chop the 2 strips of bacon into bite-sized pieces, about 1-2 cm wide. Finely dice the 1/6 onion as well. Dicing the onion finely will help it blend more smoothly when cooked.
Step 2
Heat a pan over medium heat and melt 1 Tbsp of butter. Be careful not to burn the butter; let it melt gently to enhance its flavor.
Step 3
Once the butter is melted, add the chopped bacon and diced onion to the pan and stir-fry them together. Cook until the bacon is golden brown and releases its fat, and the onion becomes translucent. The savory aroma of the bacon will be most delightful at this stage.
Step 4
When the bacon and onion are well cooked, add 1 bowl of warm rice to the pan. Use a spatula to break up any clumps of rice and stir-fry until everything is evenly mixed. It’s important to stir-fry so that each grain of rice absorbs the flavors of the ingredients.
Step 5
Once the rice is well combined with the other ingredients, add 3 Tbsp of creamy spaghetti sauce. Continue to stir-fry until everything has a glossy sheen. Ensure the creamy sauce and savory bacon flavors are thoroughly blended.
Step 6
After thoroughly stir-frying, season with a pinch of black pepper to your taste. Pepper enhances the overall flavor of the fried rice. Gently mix everything together to finish.
Step 7
Transfer the finished bacon cream fried rice to a nice serving bowl. Sprinkle generously with 1 Tbsp of grated Parmesan cheese for added richness. Garnish with a pinch of parsley flakes and oregano for a beautiful presentation. Serving with pickles adds a refreshing tang that balances the richness, making it even more delicious.
