Main Ingredient

  • 1 Hard-boiled egg

Tools

  • 1 Cleaned milk carton
  • 2 Wooden chopsticks
  • 2 Yellow rubber bands (or sturdy rubber bands)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare your hard-boiled egg. Peel the shell off the egg. Carefully place the peeled egg inside the prepared milk carton. You can cut the sides of the milk carton to create space for the egg. Next, place the egg inside the carton, then insert two wooden chopsticks parallel on either side of the egg to hold it in place.

Step 1

Step 2

Now, loop the rubber bands over the ends of the chopsticks and pull them taut to press the egg. The rubber bands will firmly secure the egg and help shape it. It’s important to fasten the rubber bands securely so they don’t loosen.

Step 2

Step 3

Leave the egg like this for about 2-3 hours. During this time, the egg will be pressed, creating an indentation in the center and forming the outline of a heart shape. Once you feel the shape is well-formed, carefully remove the rubber bands and chopsticks. Then, slice the heart-shaped egg in half. Your adorable heart-shaped egg is now complete!
