Main Ingredients- Suvifood Chicken Breast Mandu 1 pack (approx. 10-12 pieces)
- Cabbage 1/6 head (approx. 100g)
- Onion 1/4 medium (approx. 50g)
- Perilla Leaves 3-5 sheets
- Carrot 1/4 medium (approx. 30g)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180℃ (350°F). If you don’t have an oven, you can pan-fry the dumplings over medium-low heat with a little oil until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Step 2
Bake Dumplings: Arrange the Suvifood chicken breast mandu in a single layer on an oven-safe dish. For extra crispiness, you can lightly brush them with olive oil before baking. Place them in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes until golden and crispy. While the dumplings are baking, prepare the vegetables.
Step 3
Prepare Vegetables 1 (Cabbage): Thinly julienne the cabbage. Slicing it thinly allows the sauce to penetrate well and improves the texture. For extra crispiness, you can rinse it briefly in cold water and pat it dry thoroughly.
Step 4
Prepare Vegetables 2 (Onion): Julienne the onion thinly, similar to the cabbage. If you find raw onion too pungent, soak the julienned onion in cold water for about 5 minutes, then drain well. This will make it milder and sweeter.
Step 5
Prepare Vegetables 3 (Perilla Leaves & Carrot): Roll the perilla leaves and slice them thinly into fine strips. Julienne the carrot into thin strips as well. Slicing all the vegetables thinly ensures they mix well with the dumplings and enhance the overall flavor.
Step 6
Season the Vegetables: In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced cabbage, onion, perilla leaves, and carrot. Add 2 tablespoons of bibimjang and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Gently mix and toss the vegetables with your hands or a spoon until evenly coated with the sauce. Taste and add a little more bibimjang if needed for your preference.
Step 7
Assemble and Serve: Arrange the seasoned vegetables attractively on a serving plate. Top with the freshly baked chicken breast dumplings. For a final touch, sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired. Your healthy and delicious chicken breast bibim mandu is now ready to be enjoyed!
