Key Ingredients- 1/2 cup Almond flour (approx. 40g)
- 1 Tbsp Whole sesame seeds
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1/2 tsp Stevia (or other sweetener alternative)
- 1 Tbsp Water
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, whole sesame seeds, salt, and stevia. Give them a light mix. Then, add 1 tablespoon of water and gently mix with a spatula or your hands until a dough forms. Avoid overmixing, as this can make the cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients come together into a cohesive ball.
Step 2
Place the dough onto a piece of parchment paper or inside a zipper bag. To prevent sticking when rolling, cover the dough with another sheet of parchment paper.
Step 3
Using a rolling pin, thinly and evenly roll out the dough to about 0.3-0.5 cm thickness. It’s important to roll it thinly for neat cookie shapes.
Step 4
After rolling, carefully remove the top sheet of parchment paper or the zipper bag. Use your favorite cookie cutters or a knife to cut out shapes or score the dough. You can re-gather the scraps, re-roll, and cut more cookies.
Step 5
Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F). Arrange the cut cookies on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes. The cookies are done when the edges turn lightly golden brown. Baking time may vary slightly depending on your oven. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack for maximum crispiness.
