Gourmet Toaster Delight
Create a Delicious and Satisfying Toaster Treat for Snack Time
I made this for my family members who felt a bit hungry after eating dinner early. This recipe turns simple bread into a delightful and nourishing snack.
Main Ingredients- 1 slice of bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1/2 tomato
Special Sauce & Spread- 2 Tbsp agave syrup
- 2 Tbsp condensed milk
- 2 Tbsp mustard sauce
- 2 Tbsp margarine
- 2 Tbsp agave syrup

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, whisk the 2 eggs until well combined. Lightly grease a non-stick pan and pour in the whisked eggs. Cook over medium heat, flipping once, until golden brown and cooked through. Aim for a slightly soft texture. Set the cooked egg aside on a plate.
Step 2
Peel the 1/2 ripe avocado, remove the pit, and slice it into approximately 0.5 cm thick pieces. Using an avocado that is ripe but not overly soft will help it hold its shape.
Step 3
Wash the 1/2 tomato, remove the stem, and slice it into similar thickness as the avocado. If using cherry tomatoes, you can halve them.
Step 4
Melt 2 Tbsp of margarine in a pan over medium heat. Once melted, place the 1 slice of bread in the pan. Toast both sides until golden brown and crispy. A perfectly toasted bread is the foundation for a great sandwich.
Step 5
Spread 2 Tbsp of mustard sauce evenly over one side of the toasted bread. The tangy flavor of the mustard will complement the other ingredients beautifully.
Step 6
Gently place the cooked egg on top of the mustard-spread toast. The fluffy texture of the egg adds a comforting element to the bite.
Step 7
Arrange the sliced tomatoes and avocado attractively over the egg. Finally, drizzle 2 Tbsp of agave syrup evenly over the top and then add 2 Tbsp of condensed milk in a zig-zag pattern. Your nutritious and special toaster delight is ready to be enjoyed warm!
