Ingredients

  • 3 slices Seoul Milk Gouda cheese
  • 2 slices white bread
  • 1.5 portions red bean paste (ang-**geum**)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients for making the Ang-Cheese Bread neatly. Since we’ll be removing the crusts from the bread, you can use any bread you like, such as regular white bread or whole wheat bread, according to your preference.

Step 1

Step 2

Take two slices of white bread. Using a knife, carefully trim off the hard edges of each bread slice. This step ensures a softer texture and makes the bread more enjoyable to eat.

Step 2

Step 3

Prepare 1.5 portions of red bean paste (ang-**geum**). This red bean paste is the key ingredient that adds sweetness to the bread. Feel free to adjust the amount based on your preference. Cut the prepared red bean paste in half so it’s ready to be placed on the bread.

Step 3

Step 4

Get three slices of Seoul Milk Gouda cheese ready. The deep, savory flavor characteristic of Gouda cheese will elevate the taste of your Ang-Cheese Bread.

Step 4

Step 5

Stack the three prepared Gouda cheese slices to create a three-layered cheese filling. Having three layers of cheese enhances the texture and provides a richer cheese flavor when melted.

Step 5

Step 6

On one of the crust-less bread slices, arrange the halved red bean paste portions. It’s best to spread the red bean paste evenly across the surface of the bread.

Step 6

Step 7

Carefully place the three-layered Gouda cheese stack on top of the red bean paste. Ensure the cheese covers the red bean paste completely.

Step 7

Step 8

Cover the filling with the remaining slice of bread to complete your delicious Ang-Cheese Bread. Gently press down on the bread to help secure the filling inside.

Step 8

Step 9

Cut the finished Ang-Cheese Bread in half for easier serving. Enjoy it with a warm cup of coffee, smooth milk, or aromatic green tea for a more satisfying tea time.
