Ingredients
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 Tbsp honey or corn syrup (oligosaccharide)
  • 60g pizza cheese (e.g., mozzarella)
  • 4g Gorgonzola cheese (adjust to taste)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, take your two slices of bread. Spread 1 tablespoon of honey or corn syrup evenly over the surface of each slice. The sweetness of the honey will create a wonderful harmony with the rich Gorgonzola cheese.

Step 2

Next, generously sprinkle the prepared pizza cheese (like mozzarella) evenly over the honey-coated bread. This will melt into a delicious, gooey base for your toast.

Step 3

Gorgonzola cheese has a strong, distinctive flavor. Crumble or finely chop the Gorgonzola cheese and sprinkle it evenly over the mozzarella. If you’re unsure, start with a smaller amount and add more after tasting, as it can be quite potent.

Step 4

Preheat your air fryer to 180℃ (350℉). Carefully place the prepared toast into the air fryer basket and cook for approximately 5 minutes. Keep a close eye on it to prevent burning. The goal is golden-brown perfection.

Step 5

After 5 minutes, the bread should be a beautiful golden-brown color, and the cheese should be fully melted and bubbly. This visual cue indicates that your toast is perfectly cooked.

Step 6

Enjoy your freshly made Gorgonzola toast while it’s warm! For an extra touch of sweetness and flavor, feel free to drizzle a little more honey on top before serving. Adding some chopped nuts is also a delicious option.
