  • 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 180ml cider or sparkling water
  • 5 ice cubes
  • 30ml water
  • 1 Tbsp sugar or honey

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make your delicious Golden Mango Ade. Fresh fruit and a refreshing carbonated drink combine for a perfect harmony.

Step 2

Place 7 frozen mango cubes into your blender. Using frozen mango will make your ade thicker and icier, similar to a sorbet consistency, for an extra refreshing treat.

Step 3

Add 30ml of water to help the mango blend smoothly. You can adjust the amount of water slightly depending on the texture of your mangoes.

Step 4

Now, add the lemon juice for a touch of tanginess. If you have a fresh lemon, squeezing its juice directly is highly recommended. If using bottled lemon juice, add 1/2 tablespoon. The citrusy notes of lemon will beautifully complement the sweetness of the mango, enhancing the overall flavor profile.

Step 5

To add sweetness, incorporate 1 tablespoon of honey or 1 tablespoon of sugar. Feel free to adjust the quantity to your preference, or consider using an alternative sweetener like stevia.

Step 6

Combine all the ingredients in the blender and process until smooth. It’s important to blend thoroughly until you achieve a silky smooth mango puree without any chunks.

Step 7

Carefully pour the smooth mango puree into your serving glass. Can you already smell that cool, sweet mango aroma? It should blend beautifully, almost like a soft-serve ice cream.

Step 8

Add 5 ice cubes on top of the mango puree to make your ade extra cold. The ice will help maintain the drink’s chilliness, making it even more invigorating.

Step 9

Finally, fill the rest of the glass to the brim with cider or sparkling water. If you’re using sparkling water, it’s a good idea to add an extra 1/2 tablespoon of sugar or honey when blending the mango to ensure the sweetness is just right. Your stunning homemade mango ade is now complete! Give it a good stir before drinking for the best flavor experience.
