- Red Bell Pepper 1/4

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Begin by preparing all your ingredients. Ensure the beef is ready for bulgogi, and wash and chop the garlic scapes and vegetables.
Step 2
To prepare the garlic scapes, first wash them thoroughly. Use a vegetable peeler to gently scrape off the outer layer of the thicker parts. Then, slice them thinly, about 0.5cm thick, resembling julienne. This method helps them cook evenly and absorb the sauce beautifully.
Step 3
Slice the onion into thin strips. Chop the green onion diagonally. Dice the carrot and bell peppers into bite-sized pieces, aiming for an appealing presentation.
Step 4
Heat a pan over medium heat. Add 5 tablespoons of the store-bought bulgogi sauce to the pan and let it warm up slightly.
Step 5
Once the sauce is simmering, add the beef and stir-fry until it’s about 80% cooked. Then, add the sliced onion, green onion, and carrot to the pan. Continue to stir-fry until the vegetables soften and become tender.
Step 6
When the first batch of vegetables has softened, add the colorful bell peppers and the prepared garlic scapes to the pan.
Step 7
Pour in the remaining 2 tablespoons of bulgogi sauce and toss everything together. Stir-fry until the garlic scapes are tender but still retain a slight crispness. Be careful not to overcook them, as they should remain vibrant and slightly firm.
Step 8
For the final touch, sprinkle 2 pinches of black sesame seeds over the bulgogi. This adds a nutty aroma and visual appeal. Your delicious Garlic Scape Bulgogi is now ready to be served with hot rice!
