Fruity Croffle Delight
Simple and Delicious Fruity Croffle Recipe
Enjoy a delightful snack with minimal effort by baking croissant dough in a waffle maker! It might seem too simple to be called ‘cooking’, but the taste and texture change wonderfully depending on the toppings. This recipe shows you how to create a beautiful and tasty treat.
Ingredients- 2 pieces of croissant dough
- 1 handful of blueberries (approx. 50g)
- 1/4 mango
- 3-4 rambutans
- A pinch of powdered sugar (for dusting)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare two pieces of croissant dough. If they are refrigerated or frozen, thaw them appropriately before use. Place the thawed dough pieces neatly into your preheated waffle maker.
Step 2
Preheat your waffle maker to medium-low heat. Place the dough inside and cook for about 3 minutes, until it starts to puff up and turn golden. Then, reduce the heat to low. Cooking on low heat ensures the inside cooks thoroughly while the outside gets perfectly crispy, preventing burning. Flip the croffles and cook for another 2-3 minutes per side, for a total of about 5-7 minutes, ensuring they are evenly golden brown and cooked through.
Step 3
Transfer the beautifully cooked croffles to a serving plate. Scatter a handful of fresh blueberries over the top. Dice the mango into bite-sized pieces and arrange them artistically. Peel the rambutans and place them around the croffles to add a vibrant touch. Finally, dust generously with powdered sugar using a sieve for a beautiful finish. Enjoy your sweet and tangy fruity croffles immediately while they are warm!
