- Green onion 1/2 stalk

Dressing
- Soy sauce 1 Tbsp
- Anchovy sauce 1 Tbsp
- Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes) 1.5 Tbsp
- Minced garlic 0.5 Tbsp
- Sugar 1 Tbsp
- Sesame oil 0.5 Tbsp
- Sesame seeds 1 Tbsp

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Wash the fresh lettuce thoroughly under running water. After washing, let the lettuce drain completely in a colander. This prevents excess water when mixing, allowing the dressing to coat the leaves better and enhance the flavor.

Once the water is drained, tear or cut the lettuce into bite-sized pieces by hand. Cutting it too small might reduce the satisfying chewiness, so aim for a moderate size.

Thinly slice the onion into julienne strips. Trim the outer leaves of the green onion and slice it diagonally. Remove the seeds from the red chili pepper and finely chop it for a vibrant color. Preparing the vegetables will make the salad even more appealing.

Now, it’s time to make the dressing that will determine the flavor of your lettuce salad. First, add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce and 1 Tbsp of anchovy sauce for umami. Then, add 1.5 Tbsp of gochugaru for a touch of spiciness.

Next, add 0.5 Tbsp of minced garlic for aroma and 1 Tbsp of sugar for sweetness. Finally, add 0.5 Tbsp of sesame oil for a nutty finish.
