A Simple Yet Elegant Burrata Cheese Salad – Perfect as a Wine Appetizer!
Today, I’m sharing a delightful Burrata Cheese Salad made with my pre-prepared sweet and tangy marinated cherry tomatoes. Salads can be effortlessly enjoyed with various dressings, but this recipe offers a guaranteed delicious and convenient option. It’s a simple yet flavorful salad that will impress!
Main Ingredients- 7g Baby greens (fresh and clean)
- 1/2 Bell pepper (any color you prefer)
- 120g Burrata cheese (fresh)
- Marinated cherry tomatoes, to taste (homemade or store-bought)
- 3-4 Tbsp Balsamic vinegar (for dressing)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare all the ingredients for your salad. Having marinated cherry tomatoes ready beforehand will allow for a deeper flavor profile.
Step 2
Take the burrata cheese out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before assembling the salad. Letting it come closer to room temperature will enhance its wonderfully soft and creamy texture.
Step 3
Rinse the baby greens thoroughly under running water. After washing, drain them completely using a colander. Excess water can dilute the salad’s flavor.
Step 4
Prepare your sweet and tangy marinated cherry tomatoes. This recipe uses them to add a burst of flavor. (For instructions on how to marinate cherry tomatoes, please refer to the link @7000740!)
Step 5
Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and slice it thinly or chop it finely so it blends well into the salad. The shape is up to your preference.
Step 6
Arrange the drained baby greens attractively on a serving plate. Sprinkle the finely chopped bell pepper evenly over the greens.
Step 7
Gently place the whole burrata cheese in the center of the plate, on top of the greens and bell peppers. Arrange the marinated cherry tomatoes around the cheese. This creates a beautiful and abundant presentation.
Step 8
Finally, drizzle the fresh balsamic vinegar generously over the entire salad to complete it. The sweet juices from the marinated cherry tomatoes combined with the tanginess of the balsamic vinegar create a fantastic flavor. It’s an ideal appetizer to enjoy with a glass of wine!
