While a classic BLT features Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato on bread, this recipe elevates it with the addition of smooth Seoul Milk Emmental cheese, resulting in a richer and more complex flavor profile. Sandwich Ingredients

  • 2 slices of thick bread
  • 3 cucumbers
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 4 strips of crispy bacon
  • 50g ricotta cheese
  • Capers (optional, for extra flavor) to taste
  • 2 slices of Seoul Milk Emmental cheese
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 lettuce leaf

Special Sauce

  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Pinch of pepper

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Let’s start with the bread! Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread. Then, toast them in a pan over medium heat for about 3 minutes until golden brown and slightly crispy. This creates a delightful texture contrast.

Now, it’s time to cook the bacon. Place the bacon strips in a pan over medium heat and cook for about 3 minutes, flipping occasionally, until they are nice and crispy. You can place them on a paper towel afterwards to drain any excess grease.

It’s time to assemble! On the unbuttered side of one slice of toasted bread, place the fresh lettuce leaf. Generously spread the soft ricotta cheese over the lettuce. The creamy cheese will balance out the flavors.

Arrange the crispy cooked bacon strips over the ricotta cheese. The savory bacon will complement the creamy cheese beautifully.
