  • 5 cherry tomatoes (stems removed and halved)

First, trim the crusts off the bread slices. Then, using a rolling pin or the side of a clean bottle, flatten each slice of bread as thinly and widely as possible. This step is crucial for creating tight, neat rolls without tearing the bread. Repeat this process for all three slices.

Next, spread a thin layer of your favorite jam evenly over the flattened bread. Strawberry, blueberry, or apricot jam all work wonderfully, adding sweetness and moisture.
