Easy Morning Egg Bread for Babies
Quick & Nutritious Morning Egg Bread Recipe for Baby’s Breakfast or Snack
I made these ‘Morning Egg Breads’ as a simple breakfast option. They take very little time to cook and are incredibly easy to prepare, making them perfect for busy mornings. Since this is for babies, I haven’t added any extra seasoning, but the combination of cheese and corn kernels is already delicious enough for little ones. The soft bread, savory egg, and sweet corn create a delightful harmony that will captivate your child’s taste buds.
Ingredients- 2 Morning Buns (soft rolls)
- 2 Fresh Eggs
- 1 slice Baby Cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella, suitable for babies)
- 2 Tbsp Canned Corn Kernels (drained)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Carefully cut off the top part of each morning bun with a knife. Then, gently scoop out the inside using a spoon or your fingers to create a space for the egg. Try not to break the bread’s crust as you hollow it out.
Step 2
Cut the baby cheese slice into 4 small pieces. This smaller size will help it melt evenly and spread nicely inside the bun.
Step 3
First, place the 4 cheese pieces into the hollowed-out part of the morning bun. The cheese will melt warmly, creating a soft layer that binds the bread and egg.
Step 4
Next, carefully crack one fresh egg into the space over the cheese. Adjust the amount if needed to prevent overflow, depending on the size of your bun.
Step 5
Using a fork, gently prick and break the yolk of the egg inside the bun. This is a crucial step to prevent the yolk from exploding in the microwave and making a mess. You can leave the egg white as is.
Step 6
After breaking the yolk, sprinkle the 2 tablespoons of drained canned corn kernels evenly over the egg. The sweetness of the corn will enhance the overall flavor of the egg bread.
Step 7
Place the prepared morning egg buns into the microwave and cook for about 3 minutes. The egg should be cooked and the cheese melted. Microwave times may vary, so adjust as needed. Serve immediately while warm for your little one to enjoy!
