Recipe Info

  • Category : Dessert
  • Ingredient Category : Eggs / Dairy
  • Occasion : Snack
  • Cooking : Boil / Simmer
  • Servings : 3 servings
  • Cooking Time : Within 15 minutes
  • Difficulty : Anyone

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • A little bit of dill pickles
  • A little bit of Sriracha sauce (optional)

Seasoning & Sauce

  • 1 tsp mustard sauce
  • 2 tsp mayonnaise
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of black pepper

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, place the 4 eggs in a pot and cover them with enough water to submerge. Bring the water to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and cook for about 10-12 minutes until hard-boiled. Immediately transfer the cooked eggs to cold water to cool, then carefully peel them.

Step 1

Step 2

After peeling, carefully trim a tiny bit off one end of each egg to create a flat surface. This will help them stand upright nicely later. Then, carefully slice each egg in half lengthwise, ensuring the yolks don’t fall out.

Step 2

Step 3

Place the separated egg yolks into a small bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of mustard sauce and 2 teaspoons of mayonnaise. Season with a pinch of salt and a pinch of black pepper, if desired, and mix well. Use a fork to mash the yolks finely, blending them smoothly with the sauces to achieve a creamy consistency.

Step 3

Step 4

Using a piping bag or a small spoon, carefully fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture. Overfill them slightly to create a mounded effect for a more appealing presentation. If using a spoon, be gentle to avoid breaking the egg whites.

Step 4

Step 5

Finely chop the dill pickles. Sprinkle the chopped pickles over the top of the stuffed egg whites. The tanginess of the pickles will cut through the richness and add a pleasant texture.

Step 5

Step 6

For an extra kick, add a drizzle of Sriracha sauce over the chopped pickles according to your preference. This spicy addition creates a more exciting stuffed egg. Arrange the finished stuffed eggs on a platter and serve as delightful finger food or appetizers.
