Making pizza is a breeze with just a tortilla and mozzarella cheese. Adding an egg makes it incredibly easy to create a delicious pizza in no time. It’s a simple yet satisfying recipe perfect for family cooking fun.
Pizza Ingredients
- 1 Tortilla
- 2-3 Tbsp Tomato Sauce (or ketchup if unavailable)
- Ham slices (as desired)
- 1-2 Eggs
- Pinch of Black Pepper
- Plenty of Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/2 Fresh Tomato
- 1 Handful Fresh Arugula
- Pinch of Salt
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Generously spread tomato sauce on the tortilla base: Lay out one tortilla flat and spread 2-3 tablespoons of tomato sauce evenly over it. If you don’t have tomato sauce, ketchup makes a tasty substitute.
Step 2
Prepare the delicious ham topping: Briefly blanch the ham slices in hot water to remove any impurities, then finely chop them into bite-sized pieces. Arrange the chopped ham evenly over the sauce-covered tortilla.
Step 3
Make soft scrambled eggs: Crack 1-2 eggs into a bowl, add a pinch of salt and pepper, and whisk well. Lightly oil a pan and pour in the egg mixture over medium-low heat, scrambling until soft. Spoon the cooked scrambled eggs over the ham layer.
Step 4
Pile on the mozzarella cheese: Now, add the star of the pizza – mozzarella cheese! Sprinkle it generously all over the toppings. The melted cheese will bind everything together beautifully.

Add fresh tomato for a refreshing touch: Wash and slice the fresh tomato into desired pieces (thin slices or small cubes) and arrange them attractively on top of the cheese. The fresh tomato adds a burst of brightness.

Bake until golden and bubbly (Air Fryer/Oven/Pan): It’s time to bake your delicious pizza! If using an air fryer, bake at 200°C (390°F) for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden. You can also use an oven. Alternatively, cook on a stovetop in a pan over low heat with a lid on until the cheese is melted, being careful not to burn it.
Step 7
Cut the pizza into serving pieces: Once baked to perfection, carefully cut the pizza into desired portions using a pizza cutter or knife. This makes it easy for everyone, especially kids, to grab a slice.
Step 8
Finish with a generous handful of fresh arugula: Arrange the pizza on a plate and top generously with fresh arugula. The slightly peppery flavor and freshness of the arugula will elevate the pizza’s taste. A drizzle of balsamic glaze is also a delicious addition if you like.
