Key Ingredients- 1 Baguette
- 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce (paper cup measurement)
- 1/4 Onion
- 1 Sausage
- 1/4 Red Bell Pepper
- 1/4 Orange Bell Pepper
- 2 Mushrooms
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of Pepper
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese (paper cup measurement)
- A little Olive Oil
- A little Parsley Flakes
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, finely mince the vegetables (onion, bell peppers, mushrooms) and the sausage. Make sure to remove excess moisture from the vegetables. Mincing them into small pieces will ensure they distribute evenly on the baguette.
Step 2
Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little olive oil. Add the minced vegetables and sausage to the pan and sauté. Cook until the ingredients become translucent and lightly browned for enhanced flavor.
Step 3
Once the ingredients are well sautéed, pour in the tomato sauce and stir it in. Continue to cook for about 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to blend well with the other ingredients.
Step 4
Season the sautéed mixture with a pinch of salt and pepper. It’s best to taste and adjust the seasoning as you go, as the cheese will add saltiness later. Aim for a subtle base seasoning.
Step 5
Slice the baguette into desired pieces or cut it in half lengthwise. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Evenly spread the sautéed tomato sauce and vegetable mixture over the baguette slices. Be generous to ensure the bread becomes moist and flavorful.
Step 6
Generously sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the topping mixture. As the cheese melts, it will bind the ingredients together and create that enticing gooey texture.
Step 7
Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) and bake for about 10 minutes. Bake until the cheese is melted and golden brown, and the edges of the baguette are crispy. Adjust the baking time based on your oven’s performance.
Step 8
Carefully remove the finished baguette pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly. Sprinkle with parsley flakes for a fragrant finish. Your delicious and visually appealing baguette pizza is now ready to be enjoyed!
