Easy Air Fryer Bread Rusks
Crispy & Quick Bread Rusks Made in an Air Fryer (feat. Lihas)
Hello! This is 냠냠간단요리 (YumYum Simple Cooking). Today, I’ll share a super easy recipe for making delicious bread rusks using your air fryer. They’re perfectly crispy on the outside and sweet on the inside, making them a fantastic snack for kids or a delightful treat for your home cafe!
Main Ingredients
- 3 slices of bread (slightly stale is fine too)
- 4 Tbsp sugar (adjust to your taste)
- 3 Tbsp cooking oil (like canola or sunflower oil)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, cut the bread slices into bite-sized pieces, about 2-3 cm. Avoid cutting them too small, as they might burn easily. Cubes or finger shapes both work well.
Step 2
Place the cut bread pieces into a bowl or a large resealable bag. Sprinkle the 4 Tbsp of sugar and 3 Tbsp of cooking oil evenly over the bread. Gently shake the bag or use a spatula to toss the bread, ensuring the sugar and oil coat all the pieces without breaking them. It’s important to mix thoroughly for a good sugar coating.
Step 3
Arrange the coated bread pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t overlap. Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 4 minutes. After 4 minutes, flip the bread pieces and air fry for another 4 minutes. The key is to bake them for a total of 8 minutes, flipping halfway, until they are golden brown and crispy. Please adjust the time and temperature according to your specific air fryer model.
Step 4
Once perfectly toasted, arrange the crispy rusks on a plate. Your delicious air fryer bread rusks are ready to enjoy! They taste best when warm. ^^ If you’d like to see more diverse air fryer recipes, please click on the video for details!♡
