Curious about the hype, I decided to make Dalgona Coffee myself! It takes some effort to whip, but the rich and complex flavor is well worth it. Here’s how to create your own café-style beverage at home!
Main Ingredients- 2 sachets instant black coffee
- 1/2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp hot water
- 200ml cold milk

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
To create the luscious Dalgona coffee topping, combine 2 sachets of instant black coffee and 1/2 tablespoon of sugar in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of hot water to help dissolve the coffee and sugar, and to facilitate whipping.
Step 2
Using a whisk or a spoon, vigorously mix the ingredients. Start by breaking up any clumps, then gradually increase your mixing speed and continue whisking with persistence. Using a hand mixer will significantly speed up this process.
Step 3
After about 10-15 minutes of continuous whisking, you’ll notice the mixture becoming thick and frothy, forming stiff peaks similar to meringue. When the mixture holds its shape and doesn’t easily fall off the whisk, it’s ready!
Step 4
Prepare your serving glass. If you prefer a chilled Dalgona coffee, fill the glass generously with ice cubes. Gently pour 200ml of fresh, cold milk over the ice.
Step 5
