Homemade Chewy Baked Eggs Perfect for Snacks
Have too many eggs at home? Bought a large batch cheaply and now wondering what to do with them? Don’t worry! You can easily make chewy and delicious baked eggs that are perfect for a healthy snack for the whole family. With their firm yet tender texture, baked eggs are a universally loved treat.
Main Ingredients- 20 eggs
Seasoning- 2 Tbsp coarse salt

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, take the eggs out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking and let them sit at room temperature. This helps prevent the eggs from cracking during the cooking process. Wash the eggshells thoroughly to prepare them.
Step 2
In a pressure cooker, add 400ml of water and 2 Tbsp of coarse salt. Place a steamer rack inside the pressure cooker, and carefully arrange the prepared eggs on top without them touching too much. Close the lid and heat on high. Once the pressure cooker starts to whistle (‘ticking’ sound), maintain high heat for 5 minutes. Then, reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for 1 hour.
Step 3
After 1 hour of cooking, turn off the heat. Do not rush to open the lid! It’s crucial to wait until the pressure inside the pressure cooker has completely and naturally subsided. Only when you are sure the pressure has fully released, carefully open the lid.
Step 4
Immediately transfer the well-cooked baked eggs into a bowl of cold water. Let them cool completely in the cold water. Once cooled, they are ready to enjoy! These chewy baked eggs are delicious served warm or cold.
