Ingredients
- 100g Cabbage
- 30ml Water
- 100ml Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 10g Oligosaccharide (or corn syrup)
- 1 Tbsp Sesame seeds
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare 100g of cabbage. Wash the cabbage thoroughly and then finely mince it. The finer you mince it, the better the seasoning will absorb, leading to a more delicious result.
Step 2
Now, heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-low heat, but do not add any oil. Add the minced cabbage and stir-fry it slowly. Continue to stir-fry until the cabbage wilts and releases its natural sweetness, becoming fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.
Step 3
Once the cabbage is softened, add 30ml of water. Then, stir in 100ml of gochujang and mix well. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer gently for about 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. You can cover the pan or leave it uncovered. Remember to stir occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom.
Step 4
Finally, add 10g of oligosaccharide for a touch of sweetness, and 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds for a nutty aroma. Stir everything together until well combined. Your delicious Cabbage Bibim Gochujang is now ready! Let it cool before storing it in the refrigerator to enjoy its flavor for a long time.
