Delicious Bulgogi Quesadilla
Quick Bulgogi Quesadilla Using Leftover Bulgogi and Tortillas
Have some bulgogi leftover? Don’t let it go to waste! With just a few ingredients from your fridge and some tortillas, you can easily and quickly make a fantastic bulgogi quesadilla using your air fryer. It’s a much simpler way to achieve a crispy and flavorful quesadilla compared to pan-frying.
Ingredients- 2 Tortillas
- 1 serving of seasoned bulgogi (pre-cooked)
- 3 Tbsp Pizza Sauce
- 1/4 Yellow Bell Pepper
- 2 Crab Sticks (imitation crab meat)
- 50g Mozzarella Cheese
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the leftover seasoned bulgogi from earlier. Ensure the bulgogi is already cooked; about one serving is enough for one quesadilla.
Step 2
Lay one tortilla flat and spread pizza sauce evenly over it. Be mindful of the amount; too much sauce can make the quesadilla soggy, so adjust to your preference, about 2-3 tablespoons is usually good. (Tip: If you have homemade sauce you need to use up, you can be a bit more generous.)
Step 3
Prepare the filling ingredients. It’s a great opportunity to use up any leftover vegetables or ingredients you have on hand. This recipe uses yellow bell pepper and crab sticks. Feel free to add other ingredients like Vienna sausages or mushrooms for extra flavor.
Step 4
Spread the cooked bulgogi thinly over the pizza-sauced tortilla. Arrange the thinly sliced yellow bell pepper and shredded crab sticks on top. Finally, sprinkle generously with mozzarella cheese. Plenty of cheese makes for a richer taste!
Step 5
Cover with the second tortilla to create a sandwich. Previously, you might have cooked this on a stovetop, flipping it over, but with an air fryer, the process is much more convenient.
Step 6
Place the assembled quesadilla in the air fryer basket and cook at 180°C (350°F) for about 7 minutes. Since the bulgogi is already cooked, you just need to ensure the cheese is melted and the tortilla is golden brown. (Tip: Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model.)
Step 7
Carefully remove the cooked bulgogi quesadilla and cut it into desired portions. The tortilla might be quite crispy from air frying, so cut gently. Congratulations, your simple and delicious bulgogi quesadilla is ready!
