Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp finely chopped broccoli (approx. 15g)
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped yellow bell pepper (approx. 10g)
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped red bell pepper (approx. 10g)
- 1/2 Tbsp butter (approx. 7.5g)
- 2 slices cheddar cheese (sliced or shredded)
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 servings cooked rice (approx. 400g)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Melt 1/2 tablespoon of butter in a preheated pan over medium heat. Be careful not to let the butter burn.
Step 2
Once the butter is melted, add 2 tablespoons of finely chopped yellow bell pepper and 2 tablespoons of finely chopped red bell pepper. Sauté for about 1 minute until the sweet aroma of the bell peppers is released.
Step 3
Next, add 3 tablespoons of finely chopped broccoli and a pinch of salt. Stir-fry everything together for another 30 seconds until the vegetables are slightly softened. Turn off the heat; while the residual heat continues to cook the vegetables, serve 2 servings of warm rice into bowls.
Step 4
Generously spoon the sautéed vegetables over the rice. The vibrant colors will make the dish even more appealing.
Step 5
Finally, place one slice of cheddar cheese on top of the vegetables. Microwave for about 30 seconds, or until the cheese is melted and gooey. Your delicious cheese rice bowl is now ready!
Step 6
Take a bite, mixing the melted cheese with the rice and vegetables! The fresh fragrance of the bell peppers, the tender texture of the broccoli, and the savory melted cheese create a perfect harmony with the rice. It’s a taste that both children and adults will absolutely love!
