Main Ingredients- 4 Tortillas
- 4 strips thick-cut Bacon
- 4 Vienna Sausages
- 1/4 Onion
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 3 Tbsp Chili Sauce
- 1.5 bowls cooked Rice
- 1 bag Mozzarella Cheese
- A little Mayonnaise
- A little Ketchup
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Let’s start by preparing our ingredients. Finely chop the bacon strips into bite-sized pieces. Slice the Vienna sausages and dice the onion. Having everything prepped makes the cooking process much smoother.

Melt the butter in a pan over medium-low heat. Once the butter is melted and fragrant, add the diced onion and sauté until it becomes translucent and sweet. Sautéing the onions first really brings out their natural sweetness.

When the onions are softened, add the chopped bacon and Vienna sausages to the pan. Cook them together until the bacon is nicely browned and slightly crispy, and the sausages are cooked through. The rendered bacon fat will add wonderful flavor to everything.

Once the bacon and sausages are cooked, add the warm cooked rice (about 1.5 bowls) to the pan. Pour in the chili sauce (3 Tbsp). Stir and mix everything together thoroughly with a spatula, ensuring the rice is evenly coated with the sauce and combined with the other ingredients.

Now it’s time to season! Taste the fried rice. If needed, add a pinch of salt or a dash of black pepper to adjust the flavor to your preference. Be mindful that the chili sauce already contains seasoning, so taste as you go.

Let’s assemble the quesadillas! Lay one tortilla flat. Spoon about half of the bacon fried rice onto one half of the tortilla. Generously sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the fried rice. Then, fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling to create a half-moon shape.
