For Serving
- Honey or corn syrup, to taste (as desired)
- Honey or corn syrup, to taste (as desired)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, arrange the 6 sticks of brown rice garaetteok in the air fryer basket. Leaving a little space between them will help them cook more evenly. (Tip: If the rice cakes are too long, you can cut them in half.)
Step 2
Set the air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and grill the garaetteok for about 10 minutes. Flipping them halfway through will ensure they turn a nice golden brown on all sides. Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the rice cakes and your air fryer’s performance. They are ready when they are slightly browned and soft in the center.
Step 3
Once perfectly grilled, transfer the garaetteok to a plate. Drizzle generously with honey or corn syrup according to your preference. The combination of sweet honey and chewy rice cake is simply divine! Enjoy them immediately while they are warm.
