Stir-Fried Bean Sprouts
- 1 bag of crisp bean sprouts (approx. 300g)
- 1 Tbsp of fragrant sesame oil
- 2 tsp of savory salt (adjust to taste)
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1/4 onion (optional, can be omitted)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, wash the bean sprouts thoroughly and drain any excess water. Heat a pan over medium heat, then add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. If you’re using onion, thinly slice it and sauté it in the pan for about 1 minute until translucent, releasing its aroma. If you don’t have onion, you can skip this step and proceed directly to adding the bean sprouts. Add the bean sprouts to the pan and stir-fry quickly over high heat for 1 minute to maintain their crisp texture. Be careful not to overcook, as they can release water.
Step 2
Once the bean sprouts have slightly wilted, add the prepared 2 teaspoons of salt and mix well to season. Adjust the amount of salt according to your preference. (If your Chadol Samhap is already seasoned, consider making the bean sprouts slightly less salty.)
Step 3
Transfer the deliciously stir-fried bean sprouts to a nice serving plate. Finally, sprinkle a pinch of black pepper to further enhance the aroma and flavor. Serve and enjoy with warm rice and your Chadol Samhap!
