Ingredients- 1.5 cups minced marinated bulgogi
- 3 Korean chili peppers
- 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 6 cups cooking oil
- About 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for coating)
- 3 cubes of cheese
- 1 tangerine
- 1 head of black garlic
- 4 cloves garlic
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Finely mince the marinated bulgogi. Thaw the frozen bulgogi, discard any excess liquid, and then chop it into small pieces.

Step 2
Finely chop 3 Korean chili peppers. Slice them thinly first, then mince them. If you prefer less spiciness or are making this for children, you can omit this step or use bell peppers instead.

Step 3
In a bowl, combine the minced bulgogi with 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour. Mix and knead until it forms a cohesive dough. This flour helps bind the bulgogi together.

Step 4
Prepare the fillings. Peel the cube cheese. Peel the head of black garlic. Peel the tangerine and separate the segments. Lightly fry or steam the whole garlic cloves until tender, then you can use them as they are or lightly mash them.

Step 5
Lightly flour your hands. Take a portion of the bulgogi mixture and flatten it into a small patty. Place one piece of your chosen filling (cube cheese, black garlic, tangerine segment, or garlic clove) in the center. Carefully shape the bulgogi mixture around the filling to completely enclose it, ensuring no filling is exposed. Repeat this process for all the bulgogi mixture and fillings.

Step 6
Pour cooking oil into a deep pan or pot to a depth of about 2-3 inches (6 cups). Heat the oil over medium-high heat to around 350°F (175°C). Carefully place the shaped bulgogi fritters into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry them for about 3-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy on all sides. Adjust the heat as needed to prevent burning.

Step 7
Once golden and crispy, remove the bulgogi fritters from the oil using a slotted spoon or spider strainer. Place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. For easier serving, insert a skewer into each fritter.

Step 8
Arrange the finished bulgogi fritters attractively on a serving plate. For a more appealing presentation, you can cut some in half to show the colorful fillings inside. Enjoy these wonderfully transformed and delicious bulgogi fritters!
