Pour hot water specifically over the florets of the prepared broccoli. This method helps to sterilize the broccoli while minimizing the loss of its nutrients.

Rinse the broccoli with hot water, then quickly rinse again with cold water to cool it down. Drain the broccoli thoroughly in a colander. Excess moisture can make the pancakes soggy.

Trim off the tough stem of the broccoli. Finely chop the florets on a cutting board, almost as if you’re mincing them. This ensures they mix well with other ingredients and have a pleasant texture. Place the chopped broccoli into a bowl.

Prepare the pizza cheese. Aim for a ratio of roughly 1:1 with the broccoli. This 1:1 ratio of broccoli to cheese will enhance the nutty flavor and chewy texture, resulting in a delicious pancake. (Approximately 80g)
