  • 1 head fresh broccoli
  • 2 handfuls raisins
  • 2 handfuls dried cranberries
  • 1 Tbsp black sesame seeds
  • 2 handfuls mixed nuts (walnuts, pecans, etc.)
  • 5-10 whole almonds

Zesty Dressing
  • 4 Tbsp plain yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, wash the fresh broccoli thoroughly. Then, carefully break off florets into bite-sized pieces, about 2-3 cm each. You can also peel the stem thinly for a more tender texture.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the bite-sized broccoli florets, sweet raisins, tart dried cranberries, nutty black sesame seeds, and the mixed nuts and almonds for a delightful crunch. If you prefer, you can coarsely chop the nuts before adding them.

Step 3

Prepare the dressing ingredients to add a burst of flavor. In a small bowl, whisk together 4 tablespoons of plain yogurt and 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar until smooth. The creamy yogurt and tangy balsamic vinegar will create a perfectly balanced dressing.
