Hello everyone! Today, I’m introducing Ottogi’s brand-new ‘Shrimp & Chips’. You can find this new snack at the mart for around 8,000 won per bag. Just looking at it, it seems crispy and delicious, and I have high expectations, just like with fish and chips! Are you ready to dive into the ‘crispy outside, tender inside’ charm?

There are two cooking methods: air frying and deep frying. For dipping sauces, ketchup or sweet chili sauce are recommended. Today, we’ll make it even more special with a homemade ketchup-mayo sauce. You can also just prepare sweet chili sauce if you prefer.

When you open the package, you’ll find shrimp sticks and french fries together. Similar to fish and chips, the quantity isn’t huge, but it’s a suitable amount for 2-3 people as a beer snack.

Specifically, it contains about 6 plump shrimp sticks and a generous portion of appetizing french fries. It’s delicious even when cooked as is, but we’re going to enjoy it in a more special way!

Shall we start preparing to enjoy Ottogi Shrimp & Chips even more deliciously? First, let’s gather the ingredients for the sauce.

Now, let’s make the delicious ketchup-mayo sauce! First, prepare 2 tablespoons of ketchup and 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise in a bowl. The golden ratio of these two will create a fantastic taste.

Cook for 10 minutes at 180°C (350°F). Set the timer and wait a moment.

After 10 minutes, turn off the air fryer, and flip the pieces over. Then, cook for another 5 minutes to ensure all sides are evenly crispy.

Ta-da! Plump shrimp sticks and golden-brown french fries are ready. Doesn’t just looking at them make your mouth water? Cook the remaining Shrimp & Chips using the same method.

Arrange the well-fried Shrimp & Chips on a pretty plate for serving. I’ve served mine on a green floral plate, reminiscent of spring. Doesn’t it look even more appetizing served this way?
