Main Ingredients- 2 medium potatoes
Seasoning & Others- A little olive oil (about 2-3 Tbsp, or vegetable oil)
- Pinch of black pepper
- Pinch of salt (adjust to taste)
- A little olive oil (about 2-3 Tbsp, or vegetable oil)
- Pinch of black pepper
- Pinch of salt (adjust to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Wash the potatoes thoroughly. You can leave the skin on or peel them. Cut them into wedges of a size that’s easy to eat. Aim for about 1.5cm thickness for even cooking. Feel free to cut them into any shape you like!
Step 2
Place all the cut potato wedges into a large bowl or an airtight container.
Step 3
Drizzle about 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil evenly over the potatoes. The olive oil will coat the potato surfaces, helping them become extra crispy.
Step 4
Now, sprinkle with black pepper and salt according to your preference. Adjust the amount of salt based on the quantity of potatoes and your personal taste. You can also add parsley flakes or dried herbs for an extra flavor boost.
Step 5
Close the lid of the bowl, or if using an airtight container, secure the lid tightly. Then, shake it vigorously to ensure the seasoning coats all the potato pieces evenly! It’s important that every wedge is coated.
Step 6
Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Using parchment paper makes cleanup much easier later on.
Step 7
Arrange the seasoned potato wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t overlap. If you have too many potatoes, it’s better to cook them in two batches rather than overcrowding the basket, as this will result in crispier wedges.
Step 8
Set the air fryer temperature to 200°C (400°F) and cook for 10 minutes. You can shake the basket or flip the potatoes halfway through for more even cooking. After 10 minutes, check the potatoes and cook for longer if needed, until they are golden brown and crispy. Enjoy!
