- 250g Salmon fillet, prepared for steak
- A pinch of coarse salt

Step 1
Prepare the salmon steak fillet, cut to a suitable thickness for grilling. Fresh salmon grilled simply becomes a delicious dish.

Sprinkle coarse salt evenly over the surface of the salmon to season. The salt will help retain the salmon’s juices and enhance its flavor. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to allow the seasoning to penetrate.

Slice the zucchini and onion into bite-sized pieces (about 1cm thick). Heat a pan over medium heat with a little oil, then place the prepared salmon, zucchini, and onion in the pan together to grill. The vegetables will turn golden brown, adding to the salmon’s flavor.

Once one side of the salmon is golden brown, gently flip it over. The salmon itself releases plenty of oil, so you can cook it sufficiently without adding extra oil. Cook the other side of the salmon until it’s also golden brown.
Step 5
For thick salmon steaks, you can also stand them on their sides to ensure they cook evenly through. A delicious aroma will start to fill the air – turn off the heat and transfer the salmon to a plate. Your crispy-outside, moist-inside salmon steak is complete! Enjoy it warm with the side vegetables.
