Ingredients- 8-10 mini Vienna sausages
- 4 wooden skewers
- 2 paper cups glutinous rice flour
- 2 paper cups breadcrumbs
- 1/4 paper cup water
- 2 paper cups cooking oil (canola oil recommended)

Cooking Instructions

Prepare the glutinous rice flour batter. In a large bowl, combine 2 paper cups of glutinous rice flour with 1/4 paper cup of water. Whisk thoroughly until smooth and free of lumps. If the batter is too thick, gradually add a little more water until it reaches a consistency slightly thicker than pancake batter.

Score the mini Vienna sausages. Make 2-3 shallow cuts along the length of each sausage; this helps them cook evenly and look appealing. Then, thread 2 sausages onto each wooden skewer.

Coat the sausages with the batter. Dip the skewered sausages into the prepared glutinous rice flour batter. Use chopsticks or the skewer to ensure the batter evenly coats each sausage. Make sure the batter is not too thin, or it won’t adhere properly.

Prepare the breadcrumbs. Spread 2 paper cups of breadcrumbs evenly on a wide plate or tray. Fluffing the breadcrumbs will help achieve a beautiful golden-brown color when fried.
