Main Ingredients- Lettuce 15-17 leaves (approx. 150g)
- Perilla leaves 5-7 leaves
- Onion 1/4
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, let’s prepare the delicious salad dressing. In a bowl, combine Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes) 2.5 Tbsp, soy sauce 2.5 Tbsp, sesame oil 2 Tbsp, vinegar 2 Tbsp, sugar 1.3 Tbsp, crushed sesame seeds 1 Tbsp (generous amount), minced garlic 0.5 Tbsp, and fish sauce 1 Tbsp. Mix everything well until the dressing is combined. (Tip: You can adjust the ratio of the dressing ingredients to suit your personal preference for an even tastier result!)
Step 2
Now, let’s prepare the vegetables. Wash the lettuce thoroughly under running water and then tear or cut them into larger, bite-sized pieces. Similarly, wash the perilla leaves and tear or cut them into larger pieces. Thinly slice the onion and then separate the strands with your fingers so the dressing can coat them evenly.
Step 3
Add the sliced onion, perilla leaves, and lettuce to the prepared dressing. Gently toss everything together using a light touch, and your delicious lettuce salad will be ready! (Tip: The size of lettuce and perilla leaves can vary depending on what you buy. Start by mixing with the specified amount, and if there’s any dressing left, you can add more lettuce or perilla leaves and mix again to ensure everything is evenly coated.)
