Crispy & Juicy Smoked Duck with Air Fryer and Side Vegetables
Healthy and Delicious Meal! Easy Smoked Duck Recipe with Air Fryer and Homemade Potato Chips
Here’s a recipe for Air Fryer Smoked Duck with homemade potato chips that I tried this week. Enjoy a delicious and healthy meal with tender smoked duck and fresh vegetables.
Main Ingredients- 1 pack smoked duck (approx. 300-400g)
- 2 potatoes
- 5-6 cloves garlic
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare one pack of smoked duck. Cut it into bite-sized pieces (about 2-3 cm). Arrange the duck pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t overlap. This helps the duck cook evenly and become crispier.
Step 2
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and slice them thinly, keeping the skin on. Thinly slice the garlic cloves. Arrange the sliced potatoes and garlic over the smoked duck in the air fryer. Set the air fryer to 180°C (356°F) and cook for about 15 minutes. Flipping them halfway through will ensure more even cooking. Cook until the potatoes are golden brown and the duck is heated through.
Step 3
While the duck is cooking, prepare the accompanying vegetables. Wash the lettuce and perilla leaves and pat them dry. Slice the cucumber thinly or julienne it. Prepare ssamjang and gochujang in small dishes to serve on the side. If you’d like to make homemade ssamjang, mix doenjang and gochujang, then add minced garlic, sesame oil, and sesame seeds.
Step 4
Remove the well-cooked smoked duck and potato chips from the air fryer. Place the smoked duck and potato chips on a bed of fresh greens. Add ssamjang and gochujang as desired, and wrap them up to enjoy. The combination of warm duck, crispy potatoes, and fresh vegetables is delightful. You can also enjoy this with a side of rice.
