Super Easy Pizza Using Hash Browns and Meat Dumplings – Quick Recipe
Do you have lots of frozen hash browns and meat dumplings in your freezer and wonder how to make a delicious meal out of them? This recipe is the answer! I came up with the idea of using hash browns as a pizza base and dumplings as toppings, and it turned out wonderfully delicious and incredibly simple! It’s a perfect way to enjoy a satisfying snack or a light meal.
Main Ingredients- Hash browns, 2-3 pieces (for the pizza base)
- Meat dumplings, 3-4 pieces
- Mozzarella cheese, 100-150g (adjust to your preference)
- Cheddar cheese slices, 1 piece
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the meat dumplings that will become the delicious topping for your pizza. Cut the dumplings into large pieces, about 1.5-2 cm in size. If you cut them too small, they might crumble during cooking, so aim for a substantial size.

Prepare a sheet of parchment paper. Place it on your oven tray or air fryer basket. This step makes it easier to remove the pizza later and simplifies cleanup.

Take your hash browns. Gently press them down or break them into pieces and arrange them on the parchment paper, covering the surface without gaps to form your pizza base. Make it as flat as possible so the sauce and toppings distribute evenly.

Generously spread the tomato sauce over the prepared hash brown base. Ensure you spread it evenly to the edges to capture the full flavor. Be mindful not to use too much, or it might become too salty.

Lightly sprinkle some mozzarella cheese over the tomato sauce. This helps the sauce adhere better to the hash brown base and prevents the dumpling toppings from sliding off.

Arrange the large pieces of meat dumpling you cut earlier onto the pizza base. It’s best to leave a little space between each dumpling piece for an even distribution.

Get your sweet corn ready. If using canned corn, drain it thoroughly using a sieve. Then, sprinkle the corn kernels evenly between the dumplings and in any remaining gaps. The sweetness of the corn will enhance the overall flavor profile of the pizza.

Now it’s time for the main cheese topping! Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese generously and evenly over the entire pizza. If you love cheese, feel free to add even more.

Finally, prepare the cheddar cheese slices. Tear the slices into bite-sized pieces and distribute them evenly over the mozzarella cheese. The rich flavor of the cheddar will make your pizza even more delicious.

It’s time to bake your pizza! Place it in a preheated oven at 220°C (425°F) or in your air fryer for about 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown and the hash brown base is crispy. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
