Ingredients
  • 2 slices of bread (choose your favorite kind)
  • 1/2 bag of Choco Turtle Chips
  • 100g chocolate (dark or milk, adjust to taste)
  • A little cooking oil (for toasting bread)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, cut the 2 slices of bread into small, bite-sized cubes, about 2-3 cm in size.

Lightly grease a frying pan with cooking oil and heat it over medium heat. Once the oil is warm, add the bread cubes and toast them until golden brown and crispy on all sides, turning them frequently. Be careful not to burn the bread; adjust the heat as needed.

Step 3

While the toasted bread cools slightly, open the bag of Choco Turtle Chips and place half of the contents into a clean plastic bag. These chips add a unique crunchy texture and chocolatey flavor that complements the bread.

Step 4

Seal the plastic bag tightly and use a rolling pin or a bottle to crush the Choco Turtle Chips into small pieces or a coarse powder. You can adjust the coarseness to your preference.

Prepare a double boiler by placing a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water. Add the chocolate to the bowl and stir gently until it is completely melted and smooth. Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in short intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Adding about 1/2 teaspoon of cooking oil can make the coating glossier.

Dip the crispy toasted bread cubes into the melted chocolate, using a fork or chopsticks to coat each piece evenly. Ensure all sides are covered for the best flavor and texture.

Place the chocolate-coated bread cubes into the bag with the crushed Choco Turtle Chips. Seal the bag and shake it gently, or toss the pieces around to coat them thoroughly with the chip crumbs.
