Main Ingredients- 4 slices of baguette (cut into approximately 1.5-2cm thick slices)
Flavorful Butter Garlic Sauce Ingredients- 10-15 cloves fresh garlic (finely minced or thinly sliced, or 2 Tbsp minced garlic)
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter (softened at room temperature or lightly melted in microwave)
- 1.5 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp oligosaccharide (or sugar, corn syrup, allulose)
- A pinch of dried parsley (optional, adds color and aroma)
- 10-15 cloves fresh garlic (finely minced or thinly sliced, or 2 Tbsp minced garlic)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Slice the baguette into bite-sized pieces. Slicing them about 1.5 to 2 cm thick is ideal for the sauce to soak in nicely and for even baking.
Step 2
Thinly slice or finely mince the fresh garlic. If you prefer convenience, store-bought minced garlic works well too. Feel free to adjust the amount of garlic to your liking.
Step 3
In a bowl, place the 2 tablespoons of butter. Microwave it for about 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes until completely melted. Be careful not to overheat and melt it just enough.
Step 4
Add 1.5 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of oligosaccharide to the melted butter. Stir well until smooth and well combined without any lumps. You can substitute oligosaccharide with sugar, corn syrup, or allulose according to your preference.
Step 5
Generously spread the prepared butter garlic sauce onto each slice of baguette. Let it sit for about 3 to 5 minutes to allow the sauce to soak into the bread, making it wonderfully moist.
Step 6
Arrange the sauced baguette slices in your preheated air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 150°C (300°F) and air fry for about 13 minutes. You’ll have perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside garlic bread! Baking time may vary slightly depending on the thickness of your bread and your air fryer model.
