Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Heat 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan. Add the 1/8 head of cabbage, washed and cut into bite-sized pieces. This recipe uses enough for 2 servings; don’t worry if it looks like a lot, as the cabbage will cook down significantly. Cutting it into manageable pieces will ensure a pleasant texture.

Step 2

Stir-fry the cabbage over medium heat until it becomes slightly translucent and wilts. Cooking it thoroughly is key to bringing out the natural sweetness of the cabbage.

Step 3

Once the cabbage is cooked to your liking, sprinkle in some salt for seasoning. Taste and adjust as needed to avoid over-salting. (Regular salt can also be used.)

Add a pinch of pepper to enhance the aroma. The subtle bite of the pepper will further complement the sweetness of the cabbage.

Push the cabbage to one side of the pan and crack the eggs into the empty space. You can use 1 to 3 eggs, depending on the amount of cabbage.
