Main Ingredients- 1 bunch bok choy
- 1 king oyster mushroom
Seasoning- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- A pinch of toasted sesame seeds
- A little cooking oil
- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- A pinch of toasted sesame seeds
- A little cooking oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, thoroughly wash the bok choy and king oyster mushroom under running water. Trim the roots off the bok choy and cut it into bite-sized pieces (about 2-3 cm in length) that are easy for your child to eat. Slice the king oyster mushroom into similarly manageable pieces. You can chop the stems into even smaller pieces for easier chewing.
Step 2
Lightly oil a preheated pan over medium heat. Add both the bok choy and king oyster mushrooms. Stir-fry them briefly until the bok choy just begins to wilt – be careful not to overcook, as you want to maintain its crisp texture. Once the vegetables are slightly cooked, add 1 tablespoon each of oyster sauce and soy sauce to taste. For children, it’s best to keep the seasoning mild.
Step 3
Finally, sprinkle a generous pinch of toasted sesame seeds for a nutty aroma and flavor. Your delicious bok choy and mushroom stir-fry is ready! Serve it warm for your child to enjoy.
