Main Ingredients- 1 pack Tteokbokki rice cakes (approx. 300g)
- 300g Bacon strips
- Wooden skewers as needed
Golden Sauce- 2 Tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 4 Tbsp Ketchup
- 2 Tbsp Oligodang (corn syrup)
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Soy sauce

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Cut the long bacon strips into 2 or 3 pieces each, suitable for wrapping around the rice cakes. Adjust the size based on the length of your bacon.

Prepare the tteokbokki rice cakes. If they are too firm, briefly blanch them in boiling water until softened, then drain completely. Wrap each rice cake tightly with a piece of bacon, ensuring no gaps.

Thread the bacon-wrapped rice cakes onto the wooden skewers. Insert the skewers so that the seam of the bacon meets, which helps to secure the wrap and maintain its shape while cooking. Skewering 2-3 pieces at a time makes them easy to handle and eat.
