This dish features cabbage, a popular ingredient for healthy eating. By adding savory bacon, it becomes a quick and easy recipe with minimal sauce. Main Ingredients- 2 handfuls fresh cabbage (approx. 200g)
- 8 strips thick-cut bacon
- 5 cloves whole garlic
- 1/2 stalk green onion
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
Stir-Fry Seasoning- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 pinches salt
- A pinch of black pepper (to taste)

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces, similar in length to the bacon strips. Place the cut cabbage in cold water and gently swirl it around to wash thoroughly. This removes impurities and makes the cabbage crisper and tastier. After washing, drain the cabbage well in a colander to remove excess water.
Step 2
Cut the bacon into pieces similar in size to the cabbage. Finely chop the green onion and thinly slice the garlic cloves. Slicing the garlic helps it absorb flavors better.

Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add the chopped green onion and sliced garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Stirring until the garlic and green onions turn lightly golden will enhance their aroma and flavor.

Once the green onions and garlic are golden and aromatic, add the sliced bacon to the pan. Cook over medium heat until the bacon is crispy and golden brown. The rendered fat from the bacon will add a delicious richness to the dish.

When the bacon is nicely cooked, add the drained cabbage to the pan. Sprinkle in 2 pinches of salt to lightly season the cabbage as it cooks. Stir-fry until the cabbage begins to soften slightly.
