Crispy Air Fryer Ramyeon-ttang Recipe

Hello everyone! Today, I’m excited to share how to make ramyeon-ttang, a beloved nostalgic snack, even crispier and tastier using an air fryer. It offers a different charm compared to the microwave version. Let’s get started!

Recipe Info

  • Category : Snacks / Confectionery
  • Ingredient Category : Processed foods
  • Occasion : Everyday
  • Cooking : Grilled / Roasted
  • Servings : 1 serving
  • Cooking Time : Within 10 minutes
  • Difficulty : Anyone

Key Ingredients

  • 1 pack of ramyeon (any flavor you like is fine)
  • 1 Tbsp sugar (to add sweetness)
  • 1 Tbsp ramyeon soup powder (use the packet from the ramyeon)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare one pack of ramyeon, which will be the star of your crispy ramyeon-ttang. Any type of ramyeon works wonderfully!

Step 1

Step 2

Carefully open the ramyeon packet. Be mindful not to let the contents scatter.

Step 2

Step 3

Break the ramyeon noodles into bite-sized pieces by hand. It’s best to leave some slightly larger chunks for a better texture when chewing, rather than crushing them too finely.

Step 3

Step 4

Place a sheet of parchment paper at the bottom of your air fryer basket. This prevents the ramyeon from sticking and makes cleanup a breeze.

Step 4

Step 5

Spread the broken ramyeon evenly on the parchment paper. Place it in the air fryer and cook at 180°C (350°F) for 5 minutes initially. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.

Step 5

Step 6

After 5 minutes, carefully remove the ramyeon and flip it over. This ensures that both sides become evenly crispy.

Step 6

Step 7

Return the flipped ramyeon to the air fryer and cook for another 5 minutes at 180°C (350°F). The ramyeon should become golden brown and crispy. If you prefer an even crispier texture, you can cook it for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Step 7

Step 8

Transfer the nicely cooked ramyeon back into the original ramyeon bag. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar for sweetness and 1 tablespoon of the ramyeon soup powder for that savory kick.

Step 8

Step 9

Hold the top of the bag securely and shake it vigorously to coat the ramyeon evenly with the seasoning and sugar. Ensuring every strand is coated is key to the flavor.

Step 9

Step 10

Transfer the deliciously seasoned ramyeon-ttang to a plate. It’s incredibly simple and results in a perfectly satisfying national snack! Enjoy your homemade treat!
