Crispy Air Fryer Gim-mari (Seaweed Rolls)

Utilizing my new large-capacity air fryer, I’m sharing a simple and delicious fried snack recipe using frozen seaweed rolls. You can achieve incredible crispiness without deep frying!
Essential Ingredients- 8 frozen Gim-mari (seaweed rolls)
- A little olive oil (oil spray recommended)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Place the desired amount of frozen Gim-mari into a resealable bag or plastic bag. Avoid overcrowding, as they might stick together.
Step 2
Using an oil spray, lightly coat the surface of the Gim-mari with olive oil. It’s important to create a thin, even layer of oil.
Step 3
✨Pro Tip!✨ Seal the bag tightly, then gently shake or massage it to ensure the olive oil is thinly and evenly distributed on all Gim-mari. This step is key to achieving extra crispiness.
Step 4
Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Arrange the prepared Gim-mari in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap. Overlapping can lead to uneven cooking.
Step 5
Place the Gim-mari in a preheated air fryer set to 180°C (350°F) and cook for a total of 15 minutes. You can adjust the time slightly to achieve your preferred level of crispness.
Step 6
*About halfway through the cooking time (around 7-8 minutes), open the air fryer and toss the Gim-mari to ensure even browning and crisping.
Step 7
Transfer the perfectly cooked Gim-mari to a plate. These make a fantastic snack or appetizer. Serve with soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce!
